I'm a nature-y sort of person and since the weather's been so great in Chicago, I take every opportunity to do EVERYTHING outside, from working on my back porch, to cooking, eating, playing, and exercising...but since I can't just say OUTSIDE:
1. Pratt Beach - I started going here many years ago, after getting tired of the crowds at the beaches closer to downtown. Now that we live in Rogers Park, this is my after-work or weekend place to walk the dog, picnic, and just lay out and swim. 2. The Coffee Studio in Andersonville - Great lattes and they carry Glazed and Infused Doughnuts - enough said. 3. Namaskar Yoga Studio - This yoga studio has been my favorite for years- completely unassuming, with classes ranging from easy to challenging. I've met some great teachers here! 4. Women and Children First - It's so important to support independent book stores, I think.
1. Milos, Greece - Sea and sky, loads of white sand. 2. Japan- Not sure where exactly yet, but this will be my trip of a lifetime. I was raised in a Japanese church with tons of exposure to the customs, food, and simplicity, and just identify with the culture. 3. South Africa - The region outside Capetown is known for its wine. That, and the mountains and sea! 4. Charleston, South Carolina - One of my oldest friends moved here, and I have heard all about it's Southern charm, amazing architecture, food, and yep, sea.

1. I can't help it, I'm addicted to Instagram. I've finally found a social media site I really enjoy using! 2. ThisAmericanLife.org. I may have listened to all of the shows dating back to 1995. Seriously. 3. JessLively.com - I'm addicted to her podcast! She has a great message - check her out. 4. KateSpade.com - This company is a great example of how to present a brand consistently.
