Are you a social media maven, event logistics guru and an all-around entrepreneurially curious lady who wants to be part of the supportive community of bright Chicago women that we're building? We want YOU!

If you're interested, don't delay! We'll be reviewing applications as they come in and setting up interviews. We hope to select our new gals in time to get started by December 1st, 2017. Details below!

Part-Time (+/-10 hours a week) starting in December 2017. We are looking for a 12 month commitment, with the internship concluding at the end of November 2018. You'll also have the opportunity to train the 2019 intern. You will be able to work remotely, but would be expected at the four seasonal salons and we'd love if you are at our public events and community gatherings when you can make it.

  • social media including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • creating and distributing a weekly newsletter in Mailchimp
  • updating the Forth website and blog (images and copy) in Squarespace
  • event planning and scheduling
  • day of event responsibilities - logistics, setup and clean-up

We are looking for interns who embody Forth's spirit: strong, witty, smart and all about building a community of creative women. Candidates must have their own computer and software. You must have access to the internet, e-mail and phone calls during your working hours. You must be available to attend our events, as well as help set-up and tear-down.

Please email Julie a brief cover letter introducing yourself, explaining why you want to work with Forth and confirming if you'd be able to start this November and will be in Chicago to fulfill the 12 months commitment (through the end of November 2018). Include your resume and a link to any online portfolios or attach a PDF portfolio if available.

Forth is an organization focused on creating intentional events that celebrate community and connect people.

We do this in three ways: quarterly salons, public events and custom services. Our quarterly salons bring together Chicago's creative women entrepreneurs. We host four seasonal events each year with a curated guest list ranging from hands-on craftswomen to designers of all kinds, tech-savvy disruptors and hand illustrators, writers, producers, photographers, connectors, stylists, artists, and more. We style each event both visually and with food and drink, at a new venue every quarter. We also create a theme to inspire the salon's flow. Our goal is not networking, its authentic conversation and connection, creating space and time for bright ideas. Talk is honest, open, real, and often very, very funny.
